In the case of a diagnosed mental illness requiring treatment, reimbursement via basic health insurance is possible. For this, an official medical prescription from a general practitioner, a psychiatrist, or a specialist in psychosomatic medicine is required before the first appointment.

Reimbursement via supplementary health insurance  is not possible.
